I never realized how many EXPOSED FASTENERS a Saleen S7 has.

Nobody knows about? I mean, if you ignored any sports car racing from the 2000s or live under a rock, maybe .

“Nobody” no about, except for the fact that he got the run of the mill S7 and not the twin turbo. You didn’t even review the rare one. How does this crap fly?
I remember now why I don’t watch that guy.

What else do you expect from a car built in an over glorified shed.

Never meet your heros? I dont care ether way, there is so much lore behind these cars. Whether its Racing where it was dominant in the early 2000s, its Brute of a ford 427 Big block, and then to be like in 2005 you know 500hp isnt enough lets slap some turbos on it for an underestimated 750hp...
It wasnt built by Ford or GM but some chassis tuners and a guy know for crazy mustangs.
Remember in 2005 the S7 TT hit 248mph, only 5 mph off of the highly engineered $1 mill+ Bugatti Veyron. Also it was on a 5 year old chassis built in Cali for half the price.

A Doug I actually want to watch. I think he is getting more annoying.

What kills me about that particular car is the way the battery relocation was done. Not only did it likely move that chunk of weight higher and further aft for a handling disadvantage to the original setup , but who owns that car and uses a cheap marine battery box from Walmart to relocate the battery. And they run the cable through an oversized hole drilled into the carbon fiber without a grommet ... This is a hold my beer level solution on a supercar.
I did a vastly superior setup relocating the battery to the trunk in my 93 Mazda MX-6 as a broke college student with a racing habit.

What's wrong with exposed fasteners? It sure makes things easier when parts inevitably break.

I think maybe the title was aimed at non-car people. But why would non-car people be watching Doug’s channel anyways?
